Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord.
May it be done to me according to your word. “

Luke 1:38

The Yes that caused all other Yes’s. Mary accepted Gods message, to hold and bear and raise His son, so that you and I might live and not perish. (John 3:16). Imagine you, 14,13 year old girl, sitting in prayer, a poor humble servant, and angel of The Lord appears. How scared and frightening that must be! Mary asks a question or two, but then realizes that she “is the handmaid of The Lord”. Do we ever feel in our lives that God is working through us for someone else? Are we open to that? “Be done to me according to thy word”. What a beautiful, simple prayer. A complete trust in God. Mary is a perfect example of who we are all called to be. Obviously God is not going to appear to us and be like ” you are having my Son”, but maybe He is trying to say something else. Maybe He is trying to move in our lives. Be open to His will. Listen. Be open to the will of God. Have complete trust in Him. Be more like Mary, a humble servant for loved The Lord with all she was. I suggest you listen to the song ” New Again by Sara Adams and Brad Prasiley. “. Amen!

He himself bore our sins in his body upon the tree, so that we, having died to sin, would live for justice. By his wounds, you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24 CPDV)

By His wounds, You have been healed. Life isn’t about all the pointless fights, the pointless highschool drama, the pointless worries. It is about Him. It is more than enough for anyone. He carried our sins and by His wounds we are healed. Oh what a loving God we have. Oh what a gift my life is. Thank you Lord.

"We love because he first loved us."

In every aspect of our lives, we must aim to give all the glory back. After all, our earthly goal is so much smaller than our heavenly goal. If you think about it, God is stronger and more important than any of the problems we could possibly face. He is life. He is love. We must live our lives for Him. We were made by Him and our hearts will not rest until we are back in His love and grace

You are made in the image and likeness of God. You are beautiful and full of love due to no action nor merit of your own. Nuff said.

As I look back on previous feelings or relationships or events, I’ve come to know that God has a reason for putting certain things in your life at certain times. They are most always to bring you back to Him, the creator. God stirs up these thoughts and feeling to allow you to choose to act, and also attempt to understand what God is trying to speak to you through these events. Wether it make you stronger, humble yourself, know love and know suffering, whatever it may be, God has a plan. And we should find hope and joy and strength out of that. That we have a loving God, helping us get back to Him, through our daily lives.

One of two greatest commandments Jesus left us. With the saying, it poses the question of ” who is the neighbor “. However this question allows for discrimination, the person choosing who is or isn’t their neighbor. Rather Jesus tells us, by turning the question around that we are the neighbor, and that we should love everyone as yourself, and as they love you. It’s confusing but amazing. We must all try to be the neighbor, loving everyone as we love ourselves.

Start off with the bible.
“Is it lawful to pay the census tax to Caesar or not? Should we pay or should we not pay?”
Knowing their hypocrisy he said to them,”Why are you testing me? Bring me a denarius to look at.” They brought one to him and he said to them,”Whose image and inscription is this?” They replied to him, “Caesar’s.” So Jesus said to them,”Repay to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and to God what belongs to God.” Mark 12.

It is quite beautiful. Jesus makes it so clear. Who in the world has an image of God? Well, considering Genesis, we know that we has humans are made in the IMAGE and likeness of God. We are made in the image of Him. Like the coin with Caesars face, Jesus tells us to give ourselves back to God, as we belong to him, by our human nature. We must live our lives, as to glorify God in all, listen to Him as He calls us.

There are things in this world that change. The president of the united states, the weather, the economy. And there are things that we know, will never change. The earths pull of gravity will always be 9.80 meters/ second, the earth will orbit the sun, there will be 24 hours in a day. As I journey through life, I have come to know that’s Gods love for us, will never change. No matter how many times we fall, no matter how many times we give into temptation, He loves us. There is one thing that God wants from us, to be eternally in heaven with Him. I do not have to ” earn ” my way to heaven. This is so clear in Ephesians 2:8 - For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. IT IS A GIFT. God desires that we may live with Him forever. So what is the point im trying to make here. I don’t have to convince God that I should belong in heaven, He knows that, He desires that. I only have to convince myself. And it’s not only about me, but about others. We are all called to help each other get to heaven, help convince that person that they belong in heaven ( lets be honest, none of us do. ). God has a plan for us, He has a plan that always leads back to Him. It is up to us, and help others along the way, to convince yourself that this is the road to Heaven. and that is the purpose of our being.
